It's Back to the Beach!
Beginning July 6, we move our worship service to Breakwater Beach in Brewster (at the end of Breakwater Rd.)
We gather at the shoreline at 7:30 am to offer praise and thanks to God, to hear His Word read and preached, and to pray.
We then move to the parking lot for fellowship, coffee or juice, and treats.
After that, we join in a short service of Holy Communion in the parking lot. We invite all baptized Christians who are walking in repentance and faith to share in the Sacrament.
Then we go forth to enjoy this bit of God's beautiful creation called Cape Cod, and to live as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord.

The year 2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicea, when leaders of the Church gathered, prayed, discussed, and produced the Nicene Creed.
With Christians around the world today, as well as down through the ages, we recite this expression of faith in the Triune God when we gather for worship on the Lord's Day.
The text is as follows (from the Book of Common Prayer 2019 of the Anglican Church of North America):

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, visible and invisible.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
He suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living
and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life,
who proceeds from the Father (and the Son),
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Your friends and neighbors of the Anglican Church of the Resurrection invite you to join us for worship with Word, Sacrament and Fellowship each Sunday, the Lord's Day. When you visit us, you can expect a warm welcome, biblical preaching, and reverent worship in an informal setting. We raise our voices in heart-felt prayer, and in singing some of the great classic hymns of the Church as well as some of the theologically solid new ones (think CityAlight).
